If you have a bachelor’s degree . . .

Graduate Certificate
Duke University School of Nursing offers a Graduate Certificate in informatics for health care professionals who have earned a bachelor’s degree and wish to explore the use of advances in electronic health care data to improve human health.
Non-Degree Enrollment Option
For nurses who already have a bachelor’s degree and who wish to improve their skills in specific areas, the non-degree option provides access to graduate courses in seven specialty areas.
Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree
If you have a bachelor’s degree in another discipline, Duke’s Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program offers a 16-month program which incorporates all of the components of a traditional Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program with an additional focus on 21st century health care needs.

If you have a Master of Science in Nursing degree . . .

Post-Master’s Certificate in Nursing
A Post-Master’s Certificate in Nursing is available for nurses who have previously earned a master of science in nursing (MSN) degree and who wish to gain deeper knowledge and experience in one of the specialty areas offered by the School.

If you have a PhD or other research-focused degree in nursing . . .

Postdoctoral Fellowship Program
Each year, the School of Nursing supports two postdoctoral fellows involved in rigorous scholarship and research on the trajectories of chronic illness and care systems.

Continuing Nursing Education Credit (CEU) Opportunities

Throughout the year, Duke University School of Nursing offers a variety of experiences which provide CEUs for nurses, social workers, and other professionals.
